The FSU is an on-site learning community. Topics vary from fun-and-games to politics and revolution. Our goal is to form an autonomous zone and share skills needed to maintain that, to entertain educate and enliven visitors and Occupiers. Our purpose is to provide support and space for skill sharing and sharing basic information regarding Occupy Boston, and to encourage self-organizing, teaching, and learning opportunities.
150-plus, teach-ins were held at Dewey Square from October 7th through the raid, December 9th, 2011.
FSU is an open forum, anyone is welcome to teach, share your wisdom. Topics span the universe: Corporate Greed, Non Violence & Civil Disobedience, Anarchism, Socialism, Active Listening, The Economy & Wall Street, Compassion Training, Political Activism, Anti-Sexism, Anti-Racism … and much more.
